Visitors on a journey into the past in the up to 500 million year old cavesEquipped with a rain jacket, flashlight and helmet more and more people discover fascinating cave landscape of Sri Lanka. The prehistoric wonders Waulpane, or “bat cave”, is 500 million years old and is deposited on the eastern slopes of the mountain chain Rakwana near the Uda Walawe National Park.
